Postcode Support Trust

The Prince Of Wales's Charitable Foundation

The Prince of Wales's Charitable Foundation is inspired by His Royal Highness's values of harmony and sustainability.

The Prince of Wales's Charitable Foundation (PWCF) is inspired by His Royal Highness's values of harmony and sustainability. For more than 35 years, HRH has been at the vanguard of identifying needs and developing a charitable response to meet those needs, as well as positively changing lives for vulnerable individuals and communities.

The vision of the PWCF is to utilise overarching projects to make a difference through innovation and collaboration, particularly for those young people within our society who are socially and economically disadvantaged.

Funding from players of People's Postcode Lottery will enable the PWCF to increase the number of lives it has an impact on. Through four projects, the PWCF will provide support for young people across the UK, helping them into sustainable employment and a healthier life style, mitigating the impact of poverty and social disadvantage.

They aim to do this via:

  • Get into work programmes for young people under 25,
  • A mentoring programme for children in the most deprived areas of the UK,
  • A ready for work programme for young people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless, and
  • The New Cumnock regeneration project, which provides inclusive sports facilities for young people in one of the most deprived areas of Scotland.
