Friends of the Earth
Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Scotland has more than 200 local activist groups and is part of the largest grass roots environmental network in the world, uniting over 2 Million supporters and some 5,000 local groups in more than 75 countries.
For more than 40 years, Friends of the Earth have understood that the wellbeing of people and planet go hand in hand – and it's been the inspiration for their campaigns. Together with thousands of people, they've secured safer food and water, defended wildlife and natural habitats, championed the move to clean energy and acted to keep our climate stable.
Support from players of People's Postcode Lottery will help to fund Friends of the Earth campaigns such as the Bee Cause, which aims to restore bee populations by encouraging the Government to show real commitment to reversing bee decline.
