Fauna & Flora International

Fauna & Flora International is the world's oldest international wildlife conservation organisation

Established in 1903, Fauna & Flora International (FFI) has been quietly shaping and influencing conservation practice for almost 120 years. Its mission is to conserve threatened species and ecosystems, choosing solutions that are sustainable, based on sound science and which take account of human needs.

FFI is renowned for its innovative, landmark programmes, many of which have come to be regarded as classic examples of conservation practice. Today, it has projects in almost 50 countries.

It works in partnership with communities and grassroots organisations across the globe, putting conservation in local hands and empowering them to protect the biodiversity on their own doorsteps.

As well as safeguarding some of the world's most iconic wildlife, including Sumatran tigers, mountain gorillas and Asian elephants. FFI also champion less familiar or neglected species such as the Siamese crocodile, Sunda pangolin and saiga antelope.
